Where did the idiotic idea of the earth being flat come from in recent times? Could it have been from the movie Men In Black 3 which came out in 2012?
There's a scene in which Agent J(Will Smith) is talking to Agent 0(Emma Thompson) and you hear what sounds like flat earth while seeing them talk over what looks like a dome of a planet. Maybey this is the start of the whole brain dead flat earth idiology.
Pay attention at arounf the 2:30 mark. It's very possible that the whole idiotic flat earth movement is based off this scene. It does sound like flat earth is mentioned, but "fled earth" is what is said , not "flat earth".

    Interesting find. Here's another weird thing that happened around teh same time--the Democrat party changed names to Democratic. Small thing, but it's big. I have to wonder why everyone who grew up calling it the Democrat party now calls it Democratic. Even the president calls it Democratic. Weird, bizarre, mind-boggling. Literally, Wikipedia changed what was Democrat to democratic overnight.Seriously, in one night. I believe the name change came from the television series House of Cards.
