On Saturday, September 7th, Pope will meet the President at Iavoloha Palace. The Ceremony Building will host a meeting with the authorities, civil society and the diplomatic corps. A prayer will follow at the abbey of the Carmelite nuns.
The bishops of Madagascar will be able to exchange with the sovereign pontiff in the Cathedral of Andohalo. A visit to the tomb of Blessed Victory Rasoamanarivo will follow before a vigil with the youth in the diocesan field of Soamandrakizay.

A day in Mauritius
It is at 10:40 (Mauritius time) that the pope will arrive on the sister island. A welcome ceremony will be held at the airport, followed by a Mass and a lunch with the bishops. A private visit to Father Laval's sanctuary will follow before a meeting with the President, another with the Prime Minister and then one with the authorities, civil society and the diplomatic corps. The pontiff leaves for Tanarive in the evening.
A ceremony to say goodbye to the Pope will take place in Madagascar before he flies back to Rome.
